10:33 pm - Three Stories
All three of these are John/Rodney.
1) It's right after they were kicked out of Atlantis and John ends up in a trap on another planet. Rodney sneaks onto the mission and ends up freeing John from the boot type thing his foot was stuck in.
2) SGA-1 goes to a planet where they are asked to show their ink. Teyla and Ronon show their tattoos but John and Rodney don't have any so this master artist tattoos them using an ancient device.
3) A priest starts to sacrifice Rodney but John finds him just in time. Rodney has lost a lot of blood because they were dripping his blood on an ancient shield device to activate it. Johns sets the shield to overload and destroy the planet but goes back and stops it.

09:41 pm - Rodney/Teyla Friendship
I have this urge for Rodney/Teyla friendship fics, and I remembered one I read ages ago. I've searched but obviously I can't find it, otherwise I wouldn't be here. So:
The team are offworld... in a cave maybe? Something goes wrong and Rodney and Teyla are trapped together beneath a pile of rubble. Everyone's trying to rescue them, get them out; and something about earthquakes and everything being unstable and everyone unnecessary have to leave? And maybe they blow up this wall... and Rodney and Teyla hit this button that stops everything, saving the day... and at the end, Carson turns the lights off and they panic. In the way that they panic, of course.
Help? Something keeps telling me its called 'Trapped' or 'Broken Glass' or... yeah... I'll hit myself for my ignorance once one of you lovely people find it for me. <3

Okay, um... a couple of requests, some I know exists, some I think may be from crossovers or other fandoms, and some that I'm not sure if I just imagined or what. *Facepalms* So here goes nothing.
1. This one... I'm pretty sure it exists. Its McKay/Lorne, and apparently Lorne was assigned to accompany McKay, who was doing repairs in the city, and Lorne's all up in McKay's space and they end up making out and maybe a blowjob? Handjob? Frottage? Don't remember at all. Just that Sheppard was just around the corner and they hadn't heard and he's kind of jealous and he pretends not to know, I think, or maybe he implies that Lorne better do right by McKay or else.
2. Okay um... This is McShep. I think. Or maybe not... I just...anyways. They're already, you know, doing their whatever and I think maybe Rodney says something like it feels impersonal when they're not facing each other or something and John shows him that it can still feel intimate and personal even if they're not exactly facing each by... oh god, I'm blushing just writing this... pulling Rodney onto his lap while they're... you know... (Gosh, you'd think I'd get over the awkwardness especially after how much fics I've read...). Or maybe it's Rodney doing John... I just... I can't remember.
3. And this one's very, very vague. Something like Rodney letting himself be shot by an arrow for John... yes, I know, that counts for like 20 billion fics, but that's all I remember. *facepalms*... at this rate, I might as well go to genre search... I'm so sorry guys.
Thanks a billion in advance. You guys rock b/c this is all probably gonna be found in the next five minutes or something and I'll bang my head into a desk after feeling very stupid.

02:20 pm - Hallloooooo!
I'm Back! Two weeks of fabulous pub food, mooching off my folks (and my brother), reveling in the glorious (the Crown Jewels are so SHINY) and not so glorious (Cromwell's digs...so dark and so puritan), and wishing I didn't have to come home. Except for one thing. That $2 to 1 GBP thing? BITES. I had to erase the pound sign and stick in the dollar sign not to freak out. But other than that...
Anyway, back to the old grind (I'm at work), and I also have to reply to all the kind and wonderful people who left me reviews on Figurative Hell! I'm sneaking the opportunity to do that at work today, since I can't focus with all the construction noise (my floor is being completely redone into cubicles. Ick).
I'll try to post some pics a little later this week. Hope none of you had any fun while I was gone! Hee! (I'm such a selfish person, so, so selfish).

Hey all, *waves*
I think this fic was McShep...
Anyway Rodney is suddenly being all nice and liking kids *shudders* and everyone is suspicious but eventually they just accept it - I think they build a tree house or something?! I think this is when McKay and John get together as well. Eventually they realise it's a plant that McKay's looking after that's kind of influencing him with its pollen as it releases it over him as he sleeps.
Hope someone recognises it but that's all I remember and I might be mixing several fics up *headdesk*

11:23 am - What's that one with John and the touching?
I'm pretty sure this one will be found quickly. It's a McShep fic, fairly short I think, and it plays against the trope that John doesn't like people touching him. He and Rodney are having sex (possibly first time), and Rodney discovers that John actually *really* likes being touched. John says that he's standoffish because he's so sensitive to it he wouldn't be able to keep control in public otherwise. I'm pretty sure it ends with the image of the team heading out for a mission or something; Rodney casually puts his hand on John's back and feels him shiver.
Anyone? I need some entertainment at work. :)

Hello all. I'm looking for...
1) A longish team fic. I remember that it starts out with Ronon, Rodney and Teyla off world and retrieving John from a sort of human 'dump' (he had been mining, and wasn't fit to work anymore). All four of them had just escaped/been thrown out of slavery and had been stuck on the world for a while. Rodney, I think, had been a slave in a palace and was skittish. They head for the gate on foot - I remember that it was winter on the world, that Ronon carries John almost constantly during the fic b/c John is so weak, that they run into a group of people (non hostile, but paranoid) and are taken in to a town/city/large community household for a while so that the people can determine whether or not SGA-1 means them harm. I think this fic was an OT4 fic, though it's possible I'm remembering wrong and it was gen. Found!
2) A fic that features only John, Teyla and Rodney. It takes place after Ford leaves the team and before Ronon joins it. John, Teyla and Rodney travel to a world where the people build primitive town(s) as a defense against the wraith - they really live under the ocean in a super advanced city that was (I think?) left behind by the ancients. I remember a scene where John is almost hanged by the people over a bridge, and a scene where the team is in an underwater lab trying to esape from rising water and some huge shark-like creatures. This was Gen or Mcshep. Found!
3) The one where John and Rodney crash the puddlejumper. John hits his head and is temporarily blinded. There's a scene where Rodney helps him out of the jumper and into a tree; the jumper is on the edge of a cliff and falls. A wraith has also crashed onto the planet, and chases after the duo. Rodney is forced to carry John when John's legs go numb at some point in the story, and is forced to have a showdown w/ the wraith. This was Gen or Mcshep. Found!

I read this a few month ago and I swear i saw it here, but know i cant Find it
- IT was a mcshep story loosely based on Romeo and Juliet but it was not au
- Sheppard goes back to help the ppl from the episode the tower find a good ruler
- I think he get roped into Marrying the princess bc the ppl want him to be ruler
- the team plus Elizabeth and Carson go to save him by agreeing to kidnap him during a mascara ball
- there singing and fight scenes amd Rodney makes out with Sheppard not knowing who he
so cookies and love to all those who can't tell me where to find it
